After installing the Frontrunner roof rack and Nomad Kitchen Co. drawers, it was time to focus on trail protection—an essential part of transforming my 2025 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness into a fully capable adventure rig. For my third upgrade, I headed to World Famous 4x4 in Burbank, CA to install the LP Adventure Premium Series Bumper Guard and the LP Adventure Main Skid Plate.
Why LP Adventure?
LP Adventure is widely known in the Subaru off-road community for producing high-quality armor and accessories built specifically for rugged terrain. Their Premium Series Bumper Guard offers both style and serious front-end protection, while the Main Skid Plate shields critical underbody components like the oil pan and front differential from rocks and debris.
Installed by the Pros
I chose World Famous 4x4 in Burbank for the install—they’ve got the experience and attention to detail I trust. The install was smooth, and their team ensured everything was torqued and aligned perfectly. The final result was a clean, professional look that adds both confidence and capability to my Crosstrek.

What These Upgrades Add
LP Adventure Premium Series Bumper Guard: Offers increased clearance and protection for the front end, while providing mounting points for future lighting upgrades.
LP Adventure Main Skid Plate: Heavy-duty aluminum construction to absorb impacts and protect essential engine components on rough trails.
Now I can hit rocky trails and forest roads with a bit more peace of mind, knowing my Crosstrek has a solid layer of armor underneath and up front.

A Balanced Build
With smart storage from Nomad Kitchen Co., added utility from the Frontrunner Slimline II rack, and now trail-ready protection from LP Adventure, my Crosstrek is becoming a balanced blend of overland function and everyday driveability.
Next up? Possibly lighting or suspension—stay tuned as the build continues.
